The M Family session

I was honored to capture the memories of this family’s first visit to Kansas City. They came all way from Texas for their 4th Wedding Anniversary. They travel to a different state every year for their Anniversary. What a great idea! We had so much fun together on the session - the kids were so good. And I was amazed that right after the session they had the energy to drive all the way back home (10 hours drive).

Blue eyes and blue skies

I met little Kaylee on a beautiful sunny day for her 1 year session. She wasn’t really excited to pose for the pictures but with the help of a few "magic" tricks we got her to smile and got some nice shots.

Happy 1st Birthday, sweet Kaylee!

6 days new

I was SO excited to meet this baby boy for a wonderful afternoon session at his home with his family. It was only a few weeks ago that I did the maternity pictures for his mommy and now… here he is! With his weight over 10 lbs - he is probably the biggest newborn that I ever saw. Mr. Steele was absolutely precious; he slept great and did so good for me! He was only 6 days old when I took those pictures.





And a kiss for baby brother from his oldest sister. This shot just melts my heart...

It is so amazing to see when newborns curl up like they did in the womb.



For this shot, we used the old luggage that belonged to Steele’s great-grandfather.

Delaney - 6 months

I love baby chub!!! Miss Delaney is a perfect example of what I’m talking about… makes you want to squeeze her! She was so cheerful! Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Little Kyler

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
